About Christie Theaux

I’m Christie Theaux, a Broker/Owner, real estate entrepreneur, speaker, and trainer. I’ve spent more than 16 years in real estate and over a decade as a licensed Broker, building my career around a belief that has become more important to me with every stage of growth: successful businesses are built by developing people, not simply chasing production.

 

I’m passionate about teaching the business behind the business. I train and speak on leadership, brokerage operations, agent growth, profitability, building sustainable systems, and making the transition from being the person doing everything to becoming the person leading what you’ve built.

At the foundation of everything I do are integrity, character, and ethics. I believe your word is everything. How you conduct business when no one is watching matters just as much as the results people see. That belief shapes the way I lead my company, the way I train agents, the way I serve clients, and the way I approach relationships both personally and professionally. Success means very little to me if you have to compromise who you are to achieve it.

I don’t teach from theory. I share what I’ve actually done, what worked, what didn’t, and what I probably would have done differently if someone had warned me ahead of time. Building a business is rarely as polished as it looks from the outside.

And while my role has shifted away from being a full-time producing agent, I still love real estate. When the opportunity comes naturally and I can help someone buy or sell a home or property, I still enjoy being part of that process. Staying connected to clients and transactions also keeps me connected to the realities our agents face every day.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to serve our industry as President of the REALTOR® Association of Acadiana, on the Louisiana REALTORS® Board of Directors, and as a Board Manager and Treasurer for ROAM, our regional MLS.

Personally, I’m a wife and mom, and family is a huge part of both my life and my businesses. My husband, Rocky, and I are both licensed Residential and Commercial Contractors, which has allowed us to expand our experience beyond traditional real estate and into construction and development.

That entrepreneurial spirit seems to be carrying into the next generation. Our older boys, Brett and Christian, have both chosen careers in the construction field, and I’m incredibly proud to watch them build their own paths in an industry that has been such a big part of our family. Our younger son has big aspirations of his own. While the rest of us are busy building houses and businesses, he plans on building Lamborghinis. So apparently, we're raising the bar a little with the next one.

Between real estate, construction, entrepreneurship, and raising a family of builders and dreamers, business tends to follow us home whether we invite it or not. But my family is also a big part of why I’ve worked so hard to build businesses that can grow without requiring me to be involved in every transaction, every decision, and every hour of every day.

Today, whether I’m leading my brokerage, helping a client, training agents, working with business owners, or speaking to a room full of professionals, my goal is the same:

I want to help people build successful businesses, lead with integrity, and create a life they’re proud to live.
